Earthquake jolts Chittagong

A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.1 on Richter scale, occurred near Chittagong Saturday morning, reports UNB.
The distance of the epicentre was about 212 kms southeast of Dhaka Observatory and about 75 kms east-northeast of Chittagong Seismic Observatory. The earthquake occurred at 06 hours 48 minutes and 28 seconds (BST), said a Met Office bulletin.
