East West University holds convocation tomorrow

East West University will hold its 9th convocation at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre tomorrow (Sunday). The ceremony will begin at 10 am, says a press release.
President and Chancellor of the university Md Zillur Rahman is expected to preside over the convocation ceremony and confer the degrees among the graduating students as the chief guest. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will attend the function as the special guest. Professor AF Serajul Islam Choudhury, will deliver the convocation speech.
Some 689 students will be conferred degrees at undergraduate level and 267 at graduate level. Six students from the undergraduate programmes will be awarded gold medals for their outstanding academic performance.
The university holds convocation every year.
