Eastern Bank declares 25pc dividend

Eastern Bank has declared a 25 per cent dividend (12.50 per cent cash and 12.50 per cent stock) for the year ended December 2023, following approval by shareholders at the 32nd annual general meeting (AGM) held on Monday. The AGM was presided over by Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury, chairman of the board of directors of the company. Ali Reza Iftekhar, managing director, and Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, company secretary, joined the meeting on a digital platform.
