Eastern Bank holds meeting with women entrepreneurs

In observance of the Int'l Women's Day, Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL) SME Division organised a meeting at its Banani branch in the city recently with leading women entrepreneurs of the country to exchange views on their various problems.
Women entrepreneurs Subarna Mustafa, Kaniz Almas, Kona Reza, Afsana Mimi took part in the discussion, among others.
They called upon the EBL to take initiative to provide loans to women entrepreneurs on easier terms and conditions.
EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar presided over the meeting. Deputy Managing Director Mamoon Mahmood Shah, head of business Khorshed Alam, head of small business Anwar Faruq were present on the occasion.
