Eastern Housing discloses half yearly accounts

As per un-audited half yearly accounts as on January 31 (Aug '10 to Jan ' 11), Eastern Housing Limited reported net profit after tax at Tk 50.56 million with EPS Tk 8.15 as against Tk 16.38 million and Tk 2.64 respectively for the same period of the year that ended on December 31, '10. It can be noted that 'Non-Operating Income' of the company was Tk 37.62 million as on January 31 (August '10 to Jan '11) which was Tk 44.58 million as on January 31 '10 (August '09 to Jan '10). On the other hand, net profit after tax was Tk 20.58 million with EPS of Tk 3.32 for the period of three months (Nov '10 to Jan '11) ended on January 31 as against Tk (8.99) million and Tk (1.45) respectively for the same period of the previous year. - DSE Online
