A prize giving ceremony of Eastland Insurance Company Ltd was held at Spectra Convention Centre at Gulshan in the city Sunday.
Mahbubur Rahman, chairman of the company, chaired the meeting and distributed prizes among the officials and executives for their outstanding business performances in 2009.
Mr Rahman, in his speech, congratulated the award winners for their achievement in the previous year.
He laid emphasis on the need to be more active in the competitive market by extending dynamic and professional services and thus, to contribute to the growth of the company.
Directors AKM Humayun Kabir and Moazzem Hossain, Managing Director M Azmal Hoque, Executive Director Ghulam Rahman also spoke on the occasion.
Officials from the company's head office, principal office and branch offices attended the function which was followed by a dinner.
