Easy-bike driver murdered

Some miscreants killed an easy-bike (small human hauler) driver and dumped his body in a baor (water body) in Chowgacha Upazila in Jessore. Being informed, police recovered the body of Rabbi, an easy-bike driver and son of Manju Miah, from the baor in Dashpakia area in Chowgacha on Monday afternoon. Quoting family members, police said Rabbi went out with his vehicle on Sunday morning and since then he had gone missing. Sensing danger, his family filed a case with Kotwali Police Station that day. On Monday afternoon, locals spotted the body, bearing several injury marks, lying in the baor, and informed police who sent it to a local hospital for autopsy, according to a news agency.
