Easy win for Young Cricketers

Young Cricketers earned a six-wicket win over Green Leaf SC in a match of the Second Division Cricket League at the Jagannath University ground in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, Green Leaf were all out for 162 in 44.5 overs with Arpon scoring 31 runs. Helal claimed five wickets for 32 runs.
In reply, Young Cricketers easily reached their target making 165 runs in 25 overs for the loss of four wickets with Nayeem contributing not out 103. Jabir took two wickets for 22 runs
Results of the day's other matches: Kathalbagan GCC (244/4) post six-wicket win over Kalabagan Cricket Academy (239/8) at the City Club ground; East End Club (178/5) notch five-wicket victory over Talent Hunt (177/10) at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium; Udayachal Club (163/6) beat Matuail Cricket Academy (160/9) by four wickets at the BKSP; Sinha Textile (234/8) defeated Mirpur Cricket Club (155/10) by 79 runs at the Dhaka University ground and Dhanmondi Cricket Academy (244/8) edged past Rayer Bazar AC (243/10) by two wickets at the Narayanganj Osmani Stadium.
