EBL awarded ISO Certificate***

Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has been awarded Quality Management System Certificate as per ISO 9001:2008 Standard for its centralized trade operations. EBL is the first local bank to achieve this distinction for its commitment to quality delivery. Md. Golam Kibria, country manager of Bureau Veritas Certification formally handed over the certificate to Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar at a simple ceremony at EBL corporate head office. Md Fakhrul Alam, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Safiar Rahman, Company Secretary, Mahbubul Alam Tayiab, Head of ICC, S. M. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury, Head of Operations, Malick Musfique Reza, Head of Finance, A M M Moyen Uddin, Head of IT and other senior officials of the bank were present among others on the occasion.
