EBL gets ICAB Award

Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) received a third prize of the ninth ICAB National Awards in best-published accounts and reports in banking sector category for its annual report-2008, according to a press release.
Commerce Minister Lt Col (rtd) Muhammad Faruk Khan presented the Award to EBL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ali Reza Iftekhar at a function in the city recently.
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Md Ziaul Haque Khondker was present as the special guest at the function.
