EBL holds fire drill

Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) and Fire Service and Civil Defence Authority jointly held a fire extinguishing and rescue drill at the bank's head office in the city Monday.
EBL staff took part in the drill under the supervision of fire service personnel.
Through the drill, they demonstrated how to get out of the building when fire breaks out, how to help colleagues and how to extinguish the fire.
Managing Director and CEO of EBL Ali Reza Iftekhar thanked the fire service and civil service authority for arranging the drill.
Deputy Director of Fire Service and Civil Defence Abdur Rashid also spoke on the occasion.
