EBL joins Omnibus ATM network

Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) has joined Omnibus, a platform of shared ATM (automated teller machine) and POS (point of sales) networks recently.
From now on, the EBL customers can use shared network of over 300 ATMs of Omnibus across Bangladesh.Ali Reza Iftekhar, managing director and CEO of Eastern Bank Ltd, and AEA Muhaimen, managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, and lead institution of OMNIBUS association signed an agreement on behalf of their respective sides in this connection in the city recently.
High officials from both the banks were present on the occasion.With the latest EBL addition, a total of five institutions are in Omnibus. Others are BRAC Bank, ITCL (a membership of 14 banks), One Bank, and UCBL.
Through this common platform, customers of any of the 18 member banks can use any of their 300 ATMs and over 1,200 POS terminals to do basic banking transaction 24X7.
