EBL-SEDF deal for strengthening SME operation

Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) has recently signed a co-operation agreement with South Asia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF) in Bangladesh, said a press release.
EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar and Head of SEDF in Bangladesh Ian Crosby signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at EBL's head office in the city recently.
The broad objective of this co-operation is to strengthen the SME operations of EBL by strengthening SME portfolio quality and strengthening MIS in line with Credit Monitoring and Developing Credit and Behavioral Scoring.
EBL Deputy Managing Director Mamoon Mahmood Shah, Head of Marketing Ziaul Karim, Head of SME Business Khurshed Alam and Financial Markets Specialist of SEDIF Syed Tarek Kamal were also present on the occasion.
