EBL TO FACILITATE DIGITAL HOLDING TAX COLLECTION

Eastern Bank (EBL) will serve as the sole banking partner to implement and operate the digitised holding tax collection system of the Chattogram City Corporation. City Corporation Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain and EBL Additional Managing Director Ahmed Shaheen signed a MoU to this effect in Chattogram recently. The system will make the tax payment more efficient, transparent, and convenient for citizens. Senior officials from both organisations were present.
