EC awards FEMBoSA logo designer

A Bangladeshi designer has won the competition in designing logo of Forum of Election Management Bodies of South Asia (FEMBoSA).
The winner Taufique Elahi received a cheque of Tk .30 million from Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad at a function at the Election Commission Secretariat Wednesday, according to a news agency.
Three election commissioners Abdul Mobarak, Shah Nawaz and Abu Hafiz, EC acting secretary Sirajul Islam, member of the evaluation committee noted artist Qayyum Chowdhury, among others, were present.
In an open competition, 76 designers of Bangladesh submitted a total of 268 logos.
