EC detects 17 forged NID cards

The Election Commission (EC) has detected 17 forged national identification (NID) cards, while sifting through the documents of some applicants keen to go to South Korea for work, reports bdnews24.com.
The forgery was detected when EC officials started verifying their documents submitted to the South Korean embassy on request from the Foreign Ministry and Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL).
The EC did not reveal the identity or other details of the frauds.
