EC to organise workshop on SCC Election in Sylhet

SYLHET, June 16 (UNB): Election Commission (EC) will organise a workshop at DC office Wednesday for the candidates, who are interested in contesting the upcoming Sylhet City Corporation Elections for the posts of Mayor and ward commissioners.
The daylong workshop will make them aware of how fill up the new nomination forms and also electoral code of conduct as per the policy under the Local Government (City Corporation) Ordinance 2008.
Chief Election Commissioner ATM Shamsul Huda, Election Commissioners Mohammad Sohul Hossain and Brig Gen (retd) M Sakhwat Hossain will attend the workshop, official sources said.
