ECNEC activities to be digitalized soon

The government is planning to digitalize the activities of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) within two years to expedite its work, save on costs and ensure transparency of different development projects, reports UNB.
However, initially, the ECNEC activities of the four Ministries - LGRD; Energy, Power and Mineral Resources; Agriculture; and Water Resources - will be digitalized on pilot basis within the next two months.
The decision was taken at a meeting on Digitalization of the ECNEC activities held at the NEC conference room on Thursday with Planning Minister AK Khandker in the chair.
