ECO fair begins in Khulna today

KHULNA, Jan 28 (BSS): A daylong "ECO Fair" will be held on the Loudob Banishanta Puja Mandir premises under Dakop upazila of the district tomorrow with the theme of "Save Environment".
Lawmaker of Khulna-1 constituency Babu Panchanon Biswas will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest while Bangladesh Association for Sustainable Development (BASD) organise it.
Khulna deputy commissioner Md Mostofa Kamal is also expected to attend the fair as special guest and Mr Kevin Groom, a specialist of environment of Scotland will attend as guest of honour.
Coordinator of the fair Paritosh Kumar Mridha told BSS that Parma culture design trainee farmers (Organic agriculture trainee farmers), facilitated by BASD, from Khulna and Bagerhat will attend the fair.
