Edn instts asked to fill up vacant posts of principals

Colleges and other educational institutions under the National University (NU) have been asked to fill up the vacant posts of principals within six months of the posts falling vacant, reports UNB.
The decision was taken at the 70th academic council meeting of NU recently.
The educational institutions will be fined Tk 5,000 if they failed to fill up the vacant posts within the specific time.
The NU will take initiative to cancel the affiliation of the institutions if they failed to appoint principals within one year.
