Edn policy to be of all: Nahid

The proposed national education policy will be a policy of all in the country, not of any political party, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said.
Nahid also said the education policy would be finalised on the basis of opinions and recommendations of all stakeholders so that it is not changed with the change of government in future.
The education minister made the observations while addressing a function marking the golden jubilee of Information Science and Library Management Dep-artment of Dhaka University (DU) at TSC auditorium Friday.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique, Pro-VC Prof Harun-or-Rashid, Treasurer Prof Mijanur Rahman and golden jubilee celebration committee convener Prof SM Mannan, among others, spoke at the function.
