Edn rights for disabled children urged

GAIBANDHA, Dec 7 (BSS): Speakers at a function here yesterday stressed the need for ensuring the rights of education and other existing facilities of the state for the children with disability to enable them to live a decent life.
"Right to information for the children with disability should have to be ensured as they are the inseparable part of the society and deserve to enjoy all basic rights like other privileged sections in the country", they said.
They made the remarks while addressing a function of people's dialogue on ensuring education rights of the children with disability jointly organized by Shwabolambee Unnayan Sangstha (SUS) and Gana Shakkhara Avijan (GSA) on the premises of USS at Putimari area under Shaghata upazila on Saturday.
Deputy speaker of the Bangladesh parliament and local lawmaker Advocate Fazle Rabbi Miah addressed the function as the chief guest and deputy commissioner Ehsan-e-Elahi was present as the special guest.
