Eerie silence all around
Tuesday, 31 March 2020
We have been living for 16 years in a small but very organised town which many say looks picturesque. The neighbourhood we love has ghost-like silence, as if there is no life here since the outbreak of the Covid-19. Manhattan, which never slept in recent times, has come to a halt.
This is not, however, any unique scene today - the whole of mankind is scared of an unseen object. Many fellow human beings, including a few known persons, left the world here, which has slowed down its pace of activities. We have no scope to think selfishly about safety and wellbeing of each individual without collective interest. We hope for good days ahead.
