Effective ban on cars\\\' tainted glass
Saturday, 10 May 2014
The Ministry of Home Affairs has banned the use of black or tinted glasses on micro-buses starting from May 10. Microbuses with tainted glasses are used for the purpose of abduction. Our country is experiencing one of the worst law and order situations in recent time. But, unfortunately, we see that the directive of the government is not being implemented strictly. The Home Ministry issued the order saying that tinted, black or coloured glasses would not be allowed on the wind-shields and side windows or rear window of any microbus.
It is a good step but the government should clearly mention that the law enforcers can't use such glasses as accusing fingers have mainly been pointed at them. So, they should be within this purview. It is seen that at least 12 people can sit in a microbus. So, the criminals and abductors use microbus in most cases of abduction. We hope the government will make sure the implementation of the directive properly.
