Eid already celebrated at several villages in 3 dists

Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims, is being celebrated at different villages in several upazilas of Chandpur, Barisal and Chapainawabganj district on Monday, in line with Saudi Arabia where Eid is being celebrated today. In Chapainawabganj, Eid is being celebrated in Shibganj upazila of the north-western district. Eid jamaats were held at Shahbazpur and Mirzapur villages under Shahbazpur union parishad, and at Chatra and Nandhara villages in Chakkirti union parishad around 7am. In Chandpur, Eid-ul-Fitr was observed with religious fervour and festivity at different villages of Matlab Uttar, Dakhin, Shahrasti and Faridganj upazilas, according to a news agency.
