Eid holidays in newspaper offices Sept 30 - Oct 2

Newspaper offices will remain closed from September 30 to October 2, 2008 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Therefore, no newspaper will be published from October 1, 2008 to October 3, 2008. If, however, the Eid would be celebrated on October 2, the holiday would be observed on October 3 as well, in which case no newspaper would be published on October 4, said a press release of the Newspaper Owners Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) Tuesday.
