Monday, 28 July 2014

Middle East countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr today as the Shawwal moon has been sighted. UAE Moon Sighting Committee on Sunday announced that it was the last day of Ramadan, reports gulfnews.com. Most of the Muslims in Bangladesh celebrate the Eid a day after Saudi Arabia. However, people in over 130 villages in Chandpur, Madaripur and Shariatpur will mark the ending of Ramadan today as they have been doing for a long time, according to bdnews24.com.
