Eid jamaats held in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, July 31: Eid congregations were held with due solemnity in the port-city.
The main Eid jamaat was held at the Jamiatul Falah grand mosque, where its Khatib Md Jalaluddin al Quadery conducted the prayers.
Other major Eid jamaats were held at the Laldighi Moidan, Bakolia City Corporation Stadium, Arefin Nagar City Corporation Central Graveyard Jame Mosque, and fields of different schools and mosques in all 41 wards of the Chittagong City Corporation (CCC).
CCC Mayor M Manjur Alam, former minister Abdullah al Noman, former mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, former state minister Jafrul Islam Chowdhury, former lawmaker Nurul Islam BSc, and leaders of different political parties and socio-cultural organisations offered prayers at the Jamiatul Falah mosque. Later they exchanged Eid greetings.
