Eid tomorrow if moon sighted today

Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslims, may be celebrated in the country tomorrow (Wednesday), if the moon of the lunar month of Shawal is sighted today (Tuesday), reports UNB.
The National Moon-sighting Committee will meet today to review the news of sighting the Shawal moon.
President Prof Dr Iajuddin Ahmed and Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed would issue separate messages greeting the people on the very auspicious occasion.
The main Eid-ul-Fitr jamaat (congregation) will be held at the Jatiyo Eidgah at 8:30am. In case of inclement weather, the main prayer session will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at the same time. Five more congregations will be held at the National Mosque at 7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am and 11:15am.
Under the government-announced programme, the national flag will be hoisted atop public and private buildings on the Eid day.
Besides, the main thoroughfares starting from Dhaka Gate at Banani to Bangabhaban and road islands will be decorated with the national flag and banners inscribed with 'Eid Mubarak' in Bangla and Arabic.
Public buildings will be illuminated on the Eid-night on a limited scale. Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar will air special programmes, and newspapers will publish special supplements.
Improved diets will be served at different hospitals, jails, government children homes and vagrant welfare centres.
Moreover, film will be screened, cultural programmes arranged in different parts of the city and a children's reunion will also be held at the Shishu Academy after Eid-ul-Fitr.
Divisional Commissioners, deputy commissioners, UNOs or local-government institutions, to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, will arrange Eid functions in consistency with the national programmes.
Foreign missions abroad will also celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.
