Eid Ul-Adha in Saudi Arabia on May 27

The authorities in Saudi Arabia have confirmed that the crescent of Dhul Hijjah, or the 12th month of the Islamic calendar, has been sighted. Accordingly, Eid al-Adha will be observed on Wednesday, May 27.
The UAE, Oman, and other Gulf countries, along with Pakistan, have also confirmed that the Dhul Hijjah crescent has been sighted. Eid al-Adha will be celebrated in these countries on May 27, reports NDTV.
In India, the crescent was not sighted. The country would observe the festival a day later, on Thursday, May 28.
The Ruet-i-Hilal Committee of Pakistan announced on Sunday that the Zilhaj moon had been sighted and Eidul Azha will be celebrated on May 27.
