Eight more people were hospitalised with dengue in the 24 hours until Wednesday morning, reports UNB.
Of the new patients, five were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka and the rest outside it, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Thirty-three dengue patients, including 20 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
So far, the DGHS has recorded 949 dengue cases, 906 recoveries, and ten deaths this year.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh registered eleven more Covid-19 cases in the 24 hours until Wednesday morning.
With the new numbers, the country's total caseload rose to 2,038,185, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
However, the official death toll from the disease remained unchanged at 29,446 as no new fatalities were reported.
