Eight killed, 25 hurt in road mishaps

Eight persons, including three of a family were killed and 25 injured in separate road mishaps in two districts in the country Friday. Five persons were killed as a locally assembled vehicle from Nazampur Gate of Kushtia collided head on with a passenger bus from the opposite direction at Fultala on the Kushtia-Jhenaidah highway Thursday night. Meanwhile, three women of a family were killed and 25 others injured as a bus rammed into a human hauler near Biraldaha Mazar of Puthia in Rajshahi Friday noon. —Agencies
