Eight suspected Hizbut Tawhid members held in Noakhali

NOAKHALI, Dec 27 (BSS): The police arrested eight suspected members of Hizbut Tawhid including three female from the Judge Bhaban area at Uttar Fakirpur of Sadar Upazila Sunday.
Sources said, based on secret information, the police raided a multi-storey building named "Judge Bhaban" and arrested eight persons.
The police seized eight mobile sets, four identity cards, 30 pieces of CD, leaflets, books, two chequebooks, cash taka of one hundred thousand and a VCD.
The arrested were identified as Hosne Ara (48), Hasina Akhter (18), Nargis Akhter (27), Abdus Sobhan (55), Mainuddin (25) and Rasel (18) of village Purkora under Sonaimuri Upazila; Sojib (18) of village Uttar Fakirpur of Sadar Upazila and Abdul Wahid Mamun of Bowak under Senbag Upazila of Feni district.
