Eight teachers of Surya Sen Hall resign

Eight resident teachers of the Surya Sen Hall of Dhaka University (DU) resigned in a body Thursday on charge of 'misconduct and non-cooperation' of the hall provost with them.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique acknowledged the simultaneous resignation of the eight teachers and said the university authority hadn't taken any decision about them.
When contacted, Surya Sen Hall Provost Prof Khandaker Ashraf Hossain, also known as an influential pro-Awami League teacher, said he had known nothing about the matter.
