Elaborate programme taken for celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr

All steps have been taken for celebration of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr with due religious festivity, reports UNB.
An inter-ministerial meeting held at Religious Affairs Ministry with Adviser ASM Matiur Rahman in the chair has reviewed the measures.
In the capital, the main Eid congregation will be held at the National Eidgah Maidan near the High Court at 8-30am.
In case of inclement weather, the main congregation will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at the same time, said an official handout.
Besides, four congregations will be held at 7.30am, 9.30am, 10.30am and 11.30am at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
Eid congregations will be held in all Maidans including Armanitola, Dhupkhola, and most of the mosques of the city.
Press releases said Eid congregation will be held at Baitut Tayyeb Jame Masjid of Mohammadpur, Mugdapara Kamalapur National Stadium, Tayebia Jame Masjid, Darul Iman Jame Masjid, West Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar and Dattapara central Eidgah maidans, Tongi and Sherpur pourashava Eidgah maidans.
National flag will be hoisted atop government and non-government office buildings on the day. The main road from Banani gate to Bangabhaban and road islands will be decorated with national flags and banners containing 'Eid Mubarak',
Bangabhaban, Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, Chief Advisor's office, Bangladesh Secretariat, Supreme Court building, Baitul Mukarram mosque, Foreign Ministry and Osmani auditorium will be illuminated.
National dailies will bring out special supplements on the occasion. The state-owned television and private channels will broadcast special programmes.
Special diet will be given in hospitals, jails, government Shishu Sadan, child family, orphanage, Vagabond Welfare centres and Destitute Welfare centres.
Discussion, seminar, friendly football-matches, cultural programmes, Eid reunions of children, essay writing competition will also feature the occasion.
