Elder brother kills younger

MYMENSINGH, May 27 (BSS): An elder brother stabbed to death his younger brother at village Signboard Bazar in Trishal Upazila of the district Tuesday morning.
The dead is Abdul Hye (60), son of late Asmot Ali of the same village.
Police said Ismail Hossain had stabbed his younger brother Abdul Hye with a knife in his abdomen, following an altercation over preparation of their father's Qulkhwani, leaving Abdul Hye critically injured.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Trishal thana Kamrul Islam said Abdul Hye succumbed to his injuries on the way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and arrested Ismail.
The body was sent to MMCH morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection.
