Elderly man killed in Satkhira road crash

An elderly man was killed as a Nasimon (human hauler) ran over him in front of Badya Mosque on the Kalaroa-Sarashkathi road in Kalaroa upazila of Satkhira district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Ismael Dafader, 65, a resident of Bamanali village of the same upazila. Abu Saleh Mohammad Masud, officer-in-charge of Kalaroa Police Station said, a human hauler ran over Ismail at about 2:00 pm while he was returning home, leaving him dead on the spot. Informed, police recovered the body and handed over it to the family members, according to a news agency.
