Elderly man killed in Savar house collapse

A septuagenarian man was killed as a mud house collapsed on him at Dewga village here on Friday. The deceased was identified as Tayeb Ali, 75, son of late Syed Ali Dewan of the village. Member of Sadar union parishad Mojibur Rahman, also a neighbour of Tayeb, said the house collapsed in the evening due to incessant rain, leaving Tayeb dead on the spot, according to a news agency.
