Election schedules of 76 UPs announced

FARIDPUR, Apr 28 (BSS): Election schedules of 76 union Parishads (UPs) out of the total 79 in nine Upazilas of the district have been announced. According to official sources, polling in six unions of Alfadanga Upazila will be held on June 6, 11 unions of Boalmari Upazila on June 9, six out of nine unions of Madhukhali Upazila on June 13 and four unions of Char Bhadrasan on June 16. Polls in nine unions of Sadarpur Upazila will be held on June 19, eight unions of Saltha on June 22 , 12 unions of Bhanga Upazila on June 25, 11 unions of Faridpur Sadar on June 28 and nine unions of Nagarkanda Upazila on July 2. The elections to three UPs of Madhukhali have been deferred due to demarcation problems.
