Election to be held in due time: Matia Chy

Deputy Leader in parliament Matia Chowdhury has said the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) elections will be held in due time in the constitutional process, reports BSS.
"Many people are talking about the election... the country has a democracy, so elections will be held in due course of constitutional process," she said.
Matia Chowdhury, also the Awami League Presidium Member, came up with the remarks while speaking at a discussion, organised by Bangabandhu Dustha Kalyan Sangstha at the Jatiya Press Club in the city on Monday, marking the 14th death anniversary of renowned nuclear scientist Dr MA Wazed Miah.
She said, "Sheikh Hasina is not a person who came to power through the back door."
Paying tribute to late Wazed Mia's memory, she said Wazed Mia was a scientist at heart. He was always vigilant for the country and nation, Matia added.
The deputy leader said, "Wazed Mia was very good-natured, modest and humble person... the younger generation should learn from his life."
