Election to JS reserved seats Mar 29

The Election Commission declared the election schedule for the 50 parliamentary seats, set aside exclusively for women, fixing the voting date on March 29.
Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad announced the schedule at a press conference at the media centre of the Election Commission Secretariat Sunday.
According to the schedule, the deadline for the submission of nomination papers is March 4, while that for the scrutiny of nomination papers March 6 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature March 12.
The CEC said the Awami League-led six-party alliance will contest in 41 seats, while Jatiya Party in six seats and the coalition of independent candidates in three seats, according to a news agency.
