Election train won\\\'t stop even a day before 2019: Nasim

Sunday, 26 October 2014

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim has said the parliamentary election will not be held even a day before 2019 no matter how hard the BNP-Jamaat alliance tries to hatch a conspiracy. He said this while speaking at the inaugural session of Rajshahi city Awami League (AL)'s conference at the Kaiser Rahman Chowdhury Auditorium of Rajshahi Medical College. Nasim, also the AL’s presidium member, said that BNP chief Khaleda Zia didn’t respond to AL’s proposals for joining dialogue and holding an important post in the then ‘interim government’ before the January-5 national election. ‘Now she (Khaleda) has got desperate for a fresh election,’ he added, according to a news agency.
