Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed the optimism that it would be possible to ensure electricity for all in the country by 2021 through proper implementation of the plans undertaken by the present government, according to a news agency.
“It is expected that electricity for all will be ensured by 2021 through proper implementation of the plans undertaken by the present government,” she said, replying to a starred tabled question of Kamal Ahmed Majumder (Awami League-Dhaka) during the PM’s question-answer session Wednesday in Parliament.
Sheikh Hasina said that the Awami League-led grand alliance government, after assuming office in its previous term, put highest priority on the power sector and undertook various short-, mid-, and long-term plans.
