Electricity from Bhutan soon: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wednesday said the government has taken steps to bring hydropower from Bhutan soon. "We'll take steps soon to get electricity from Bhutan, either investing there or procuring from there," she said while responding to a supplementary question in parliament. Hasina said Bangladesh has set an example in this region through importing electricity from India.—UNB
