Electrocution kills two in Khulna, Madaripur

KHULNA, June 28 (UNB): A schoolteacher died from electrocution at Patkelpota in Paikgachha upazila on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Nurul Huda (55), headmaster of Patkelpota Government Primary School and a resident of Daramari village in Mirpur upazila of Kushtia district.
Local people said Nurul was severely injured as he came in contact with a live electric wire while he was working at his house at about 8:00 pm.
A BSS report adds from Madaripur: A housewife was electrocuted at Mostofapur village under Sadar upazila on Saturday evening.
The victim was identified as Jannatul Begum (33), wife of Esrafil Khan of the same village.
