Emergence of coworking spaces in Dhaka

Coworking is an arrangement in which workers for different companies share an office space. It allows cost savings and convenience through the use of common infrastructures, such as equipment, utilities and receptionist and custodial services and in some cases refreshments and parcel acceptance services. These shared workspaces are becoming popular day by day in Dhaka city. It is bringing a radical change in our mindset. The way people communicate and work is also changing. These spaces are emerging all over the city, thanks to the influx of freelancers, digital nomads and startups looking for adaptable and collaborative workspaces. These strategic locations provide a lively working ecosystem where professionals from various backgrounds come together to exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences, in addition to workstations and seating. Dhaka's coworking spaces have evolved into creative hotspots that promote a thriving ecosystem where innovation flourishes, ideas are shared and collaborations are sparked.
Bangladesh's adoption to coworking spaces is indicative of how the concept of work is evolving, with a greater emphasis being placed on community and flexibility in this post-pandemic period. The rise of coworking spaces in the country is symbolic of a paradigm shift in the traditional work culture.
