Eminent entrepreneur Selima Ahmad passes away

Prominent women entrepreneur and business leader Selima Ahmad passed away on Sunday at the age of 65.
She was undergoing treatment in Bangkok, Thailand, it was learnt.
Selima Ahmad was the vice chairman of Nitol-Niloy Group, one of the country's leading industrial groups.
She was also the president of Bangladesh Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) and also a former member of parliament (MP).
Selima Ahmad was the wife of Matlub Ahmad, the former president of FBCCI, the country's top business organization, and chairman of Nitol-Niloy Group.
Her body will be brought home on Tuesday, it was learnt.
Selima Ahmad received the Oslo Business for Peace Award in 2014 in recognition of her contribution to creating peace and stability by integrating business with social values.
