Emirates celebrates 25th anniversary of flights to Bangladesh

Dubai based airline Emirates Thursday observed 25th anniversary of its operations to Dhaka by arranging a simple ceremony at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Air Commodore Mahmud Hussain, ndc. psc, Chairman, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Satish Sethi, Emirates Area Manager in Bangladesh, was present. Speaking on the occasion Mr Sethi thanked the people of Bangladesh for choosing Emirates as their preferred carrier and requested their continued patronization in the years to come. He also expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, the national carrier Biman and all concerned bodies for their support and co-operation during Emirates' 25 years of operations to Bangladesh. Chairman, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, Air Commodore Mahmud Hussain congratulated Emirates on reaching the milestone and urged airline to keep providing Bangladeshis with such high service standards. To mark the special day five Economy Class passengers travelling on EK583 from Dhaka to Dubai were upgraded to Business Class through a lucky draw. All passengers travelling on this flight were presented with flowers and thank you cards. Later a ceremonial cake cutting ceremony took place.
