The men hoping to lead their nations to glory in the ICC World Twenty20 put their rivalries aside to meet outside London's Guildhall before the battle for sporting supremacy begins Friday.
They will all be hoping to emulate the achievements of MS Dhoni, who lifted the trophy in 2007 after leading India to a thrilling victory over Pakistan in South Africa.
It was all smiles and handshakes at the historic landmark as the skippers met ahead of the first warm-up matches between Ireland and Netherlands, followed by a clash between New Zealand and India.
The tournament starts officially on June 5 when hosts England face the Netherlands after the opening ceremony at Lord's.
Emirates is proud to be associated with the explosion in popularity of the Twenty20 format across the globe. As well supporting the ICC World Twenty20, it is the Title Sponsor of IPL side Kings XI Punjab.
As an Official Partner of the ICC, Emirates has sponsorship rights to all major ICC tournaments, including the 2011 and 2015 ICC Cricket World Cups, ICC Champions Trophy and ICC World Twenty20. It also sponsors the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier, ICC Under-19 World Cup, ICC Intercontinental Cup and the ICC Women's World Cup.
