Encouraging reading of books

Friday, 5 February 2010

'The more you read, the more will you learn,' - the message of this proverb seems to be gradually getting lost.
We are now keeping ourselves busy competing with others, and our own wards are following us.
People are presently growing less and less interested in reading books. But a good book has no alternative, for complete development of an individual.
To make the future of our children promising and meaningful, we need to always inspire them to good habits like book-reading.
To help develop the habit of reading books, we all have to come forward and create a congenial environment for its nourishment.
